Solidarity Saturday

May 31 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Learn how you can help fight the second-largest rate hike request DTE has ever made. At the end of April, DTE Energy asked the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC), their sole regulatory body, for a rate hike that would result in an average increase of $12 per residential customer per month.

On May 31st, folks from the UM SEAS’ Energy Equity Project (EEP) share about different ways the people of Southeast Michigan can fight back against DTE’s outrageous profit-seeking. In particular, EEP is aggregating residents’ DTE bills to launch a legal dispute against the request. Bring your DTE bill and you can help save residents millions!
