What You’ll Do
As our Executive Director, you’ll wear a lot of hats and be responsible for a variety of administrative functions. This will include tracking our quarterly goals and outcomes, supporting our canvassing efforts, bolstering our fundraising efforts, and providing regular report-backs on your progress. Other duties include drafting agendas, running meetings, taking notes, engaging with volunteers, attending events, and communicating with allied organizations.
- Residence within the city of Ann Arbor or within a reasonable commute (i.e., ~1.5 hours or less) is required
- Passion for our mission and a collaborative spirit
- Commitment to guiding our organization to meet quarterly goals
- At least 1-2 years of experience at a non-profit or similar organization
- Financial / administration management skills
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort with learning new skills and becoming familiar with new technology
This is a paid position equivalent to $2,432 paid in salary bi-weekly. Benefits are not included. Funding is secured through August 2024, with expectation that more funding will be secured before that date to continue employment. The position involves many virtual meetings which can be conducted from home, but a physical office space will be provided for the executive director’s use.
